Species: 3 toed box turtle (Terrapene carolina triunguis)
Sex: female
Approx. age: to be confirmed
Expected adult size: 5-7 in shell
Expected lifespan: 30-50 years or more, and box turtles regularly outlive their first keeper
Enclosure needed: minimum 4 ft x 2 ft of floor space, ideally an outdoor pen in our climate, with deep substrate for digging, a humidity gradient, a shallow water dish she can soak in, and UVB
Experience level: beginner friendly, but the lifespan makes this a genuinely long commitment
Adoption fee: quoted at application
Adoption fees are set per animal based on enclosure requirements and any medical needs. We will quote yours during screening.
